Yang Survives Tiger Attack

Tiger Woods has been beaten for the first time ever in a major when he held the 54 hole lead.

And it was the 11oth ranked player Y.E. Yang of South Korea who did it. He dropped an incredible eagle 2 on the 15th to take a 1 stroke lead and then made an even more incredible blind 3 hybrid over a tree to stop within 8 feet of the pin on 18.

Moreover, he beat the odds, as the average difference in a final round pairing with Tiger is almost 4 strokes in Tiger's favour. Since Yang beat Tiger by 5 strokes today, that's an incredible 9 strokes off the odds ... unbelievable.

He deservedly holds the trophy ...
