This mountain continues to erupt after its first recent eruption on 25 October 2010 … it is killing and displacing people and is becoming a major disaster area. A Fuji forum member posted a link to the story as told with some of the most powerful images I have ever seen. Spectacular images, some of them … desperately sad images, others. All technically excellent, but that hardly matters in the face of what they represent.
